Associate Editor under lead editor Prejish Prakash. I sorted and reviewed raw footage, marked usable takes, and built the first rough cut against the screenplay's pacing and tension arcs — the foundation the final edit was built on.
Getting a multi-character, intersecting storyline to read clearly at the rough-cut stage, so the lead editor is refining story instead of untangling footage, is a real skill — one no 60-second reel teaches you. Every short-form edit since has quietly benefited from it.
Alongside the film, I supported Peppino Studio's client work and ran content for the studio's educational wing, the School of Editing, including occasional part-time teaching.
